HOW TO MAKE A FAVICON
A favicon is a little graphic which appears next to its text listing in a browser bookmark/favorites list. You can make your own favicon, which will then appear in the favorites list of IE5 users, and highlight your site. This page explains how, and offers a small free utility to convert a graphic into the .ico format.
