And East Of Eden is a Christian webcrawler search engine which spiders through your site. You are likely in it already - I don't know what listings it has tapped into to create the current database, but results are already very detailed and comprehensive. As it is an automatic system, sites are not listed within subjects, and there is no editorial control over what goes in. They ask you not to submit more than three pages to them. Revivalnet have now opened the Believers Global Directory. Previously, directory links were only possible in regional categories for sites which carried a Revivalnet banner in return. This is no longer a requirement and sites can now be added to the non-geographical 'global' section. There is a multifaith directory with a Christian section that you can submit to: All Things Spiritual Directory. Since those of other faiths may also visit the different sections, it will be well worth adding evangelistic sites as well as Christian resource sites.

Zeal is a secular directory with an emphasis on charities. Once you join, there is the opportunity for small sums of money to be credited to any charity you nominate or add to their database. Don't hold your breath - I doubt it will make your non-profit charity more than pennies, but maybe it is worth trying.

There's a new Christian directory (produced by Charles W. Morrison of the Canadian Christian directory http://CrossCanadaSearch.com/ ) which is a directory of Christian portals and directories. So if you have a site which is in some way a jumping off point for lots of other Christian material, it probably qualifies to be submitted.

"Our goal is to provide a community for creators of Christian search resources, says site owner Charles Morrison.

"Morrison says that while his list of Christian search resources isn't unique, the ability of visitors and portal/search engine owners to rate and review these resources will eventually lead to increased quality in the field. I also hope to encourage those who are doing a great job."

Search Engine operator hopefuls will also find the site useful in interacting with veteran operators on the Forum. "Wisdom to operate these kinds of resources, whether in North America, or in Zimbabwe, is found in the minds of those who have been doing the directory and search engine business. It's not found in books," maintains Morrison.

If you don't believe this, try a search on Infoseek or Google for the unspecific general term 'evangelism' and see what you get. Those results are due to 100s of inbound links! Work hard to request related sites to link to you.
