An online learning environment for
EFL/ESL students worldwide. Focusing on the development of writing
skills, it offers ESL composition courses (FUN101 and 202), online
tutoring, grammar workshops, and links to other EFL/ESL resources on the
Internet. FUN was created by Educational Technology Consultant Karla
Frizler as part of her Master's Thesis "The Internet as an Educational
Tool in ESOL Writing Instruction."

International Training
Network, based in Bournemouth, England is Europe's only Christian
TEFL/TESOL training centre working with on of the two internationally
recognized examining boards, Trinity College London. The course lasts
for five weeks and is very intensive. There are seven courses each year
in the UK. Over 800 Christians have been through this training and many
are now serving all around the world. Over 25% have come to the UK
from other nations to get this training. Teaching English is the
greatest mission opportunity that exists. This qualification opens up
the world for service. For more information contact or visit

Welcome to the Linguistic Funland's TESL page. This site is intended to
be a stepping off point for TESL/TEFL people into the wonderful chaos
available on the Internet. If you have questions on what to do here, an
introductory file is available.
I have included links to other search mechanisms (such as the Applied
Linguistics Virtual Library) which contain an enormous amount of useful
information, and many of the other sites I have listed will connect you
to still more. I hope that this page will continue to be a good
demonstration of the resources available on the Net.
If you know of a site or other information that should go here, or if
you have comments on how I can make these pages better, please e-mail
me. Sites on this page can be telnet, web, gopher, e-mail, or FTP: if
your browser does not support one or more of these, let me know and I'll
try to help. Special thanks to Tom Robb and Cindy Chou who sent in their
lists of favorite sites and inspired the beginning of these pages.

Dr. Leon Smith
Dear friends in Christ
Here's an email I sent to a couple missions leaders in India and Spain
If you know other leaders with a strong interest in ESL worldwide
please pass this on freely.
I will answer any questions and respond quickly for the cause of Christ
Tony, I have tested this MODEL SUCCESSFULLY
I'm an R & D person for long years but need to touch the life of someone who
is a people and contact missions person.
THIS NEW internet computer is very easy to use. I was personally involved in
the free internet phone aspect and used it to talk to several around the
world for testing... the quality is equal to a standard POTS phone line
So read the email... view the sketchy site and any comments will be
appreciated.
Sincerely on our Lord
